The Premier League once aagin showed why it is the greatest - and most exciting - football league in the world, with thrilling games across the weekend.
Liverpool scored four 'Worldies' in a topsy turvy game at Anfield, eventually seeing off a spirited Fulham side 4 - 3. The win moved Liverpool up to second in the table, with Manchester City drawing for the third game in a row, 3 - 3 with Tottenham. Chelsea claimed an important 3 - 2 victory over Brighton, despite having a man sent off, whilst Arsenal secured a 2 - 1 victory over Wolves to move clear at the top of the table.
Newcastle maintained their push for a top four place, defeating a dis-jointed Manchester United 1 - 0 at St James Park. Meanwhile, Aston Villa remain in fourth spot, despite dropping points at Bournemouth.
At the other end of the table, Burnley won a huge game against fellow strugglers - Sheffield United - scoring 5 goals after United had a player sent off. The win moved Burnley off the bottom of the table, with Sheffield United taking their place. Everton picked up an important win - their first since a 10 point deduction for breaching FFP, while Luton continued to struggle, going down 3 - 1 to Brentford.
