Liverpool proved the come-back kings once again, Villa proved doubters wrong again, whilst Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle were the big lossers this weekend.

With six games in the next twenty one days, Liverpool are entering a crucial part of the season, with games against Man United, Arsenal and Newcastle just around the corner.

Liverpool kick off the weekend's fixtures with a tricky away trip to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace, whilst leaders Arsenal face a tough task away at Aston Villa, who are fresh from defeating Champions Man City.

Liverpool, Arsenal and Aston Villa were the big winners, after a dramatic round of mid-week fixtures in the Premier League, whilst Man City, Tottenham and Newcastle all suffered damaging defeats.

Christmas will soon be here, and that means the return of mid-week Premier League fixtures.  Liverpool visit Sheffield United, whilst rivals Man City visit Aston Villa and Arsenal travel to Luton Town.

Liverpool earned a dramatic late win against Fulham at Anfield, City and Tottenham had their own thriller at the Etihad, whilst Newcastle and Arsenal picked up victories to make it interesting at the top of the table.

Liverpool earned a valuable point at Manchester City, whilst there were important wins for Newcastle United, Aston Villa, Arsenal and Manchester United.

The Premier League is back after a two week international break, with the headline fixture being Liverpool's trip to Etihad Stadium, to face reigning Champions, Manchester City.

Liverpool secured an important victory over Brentford at Anfield, Chelsea and Manchester City played out a thrilling 4-4 draw, whilst Tottenham and Newcastle both lost again.

Liverpool face Brentford at Anfield on Sunday, as they look to bounce back from two poor results against Luton and Toulouse.  Once again the Reds will be playing on Sunday, with Tottenham and Wolves kicking off the weekend.
