Henderson first Captain to win all 6 major trophies

Jordan Henderson becomes the first Liverpool Captain to win all 6 major trophies!

Henderson first Captain to win all 6 major trophies

Saturday was an amazing day for all connected with Liverpool FC.  Victory over Chelsea in the FA Cup Final saw LFC win its second trophy of the season, and keep alive the dream on an unprecedented quadruple.  The victory was also special for individuals within the Liverpool team.  Manager Jurgen Klopp became the first German Manager to win the Cup, whilst Alexander-Arnold has now won all 6 major trophies at just 23 years of age!

Perhaps most special of all though is Jordan Henderson.  Liverpool's Captain is an inspirational leader both on and off the pitch.  Whether its encouraging teammates, working with younger players or organising charitable fundraising events, Henderson is all-round great guy and I for one am proud to have him as our Captain.  In a world where 'nice people finish last', its great to see the hard work and dedication that Henderson has shown be rewarded during his time as Captain.  In fact, Henderson now has to be considered one of the greatest LFC Captains of all-time, as he has now won all 6 major trophies, something no other Captain has achieved.  Not bad for a player that nearly left the club after a couple of seasons and was regularly criticised by his own fans!

Henderson's impressive trophy haul includes :

Premier League
Champions League
FA Cup
League Cup
Super Cup
Club World Cup

If Liverpool go on to win more trophies this season, or in the next couple of seasons whilst Henderson is still Captain, then the debate about where Henderson ranks in the all-time list of Greatest LFC Captains will become a lot more intense.
