Liverpool vs Tottenham Predicted Lineup

Jurgen Klopp and his players will be out for revenge on Sunday afternoon when Tottenham visit Anfield, with memories of Luis Diaz's 'offside' goal still fresh in the mind.

The wrongly disallowed goal was just one of several contentious decisions that went against Liverpool at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in September, as the Reds ended the game with nine men, and lost to a last-minute own goal.

Jurgen Klopp will be hoping that home comforts can boost his players on Sunday, as Liverpool welcomes Tottenham to Anfield in the Premier League.  The Reds may have secured Champions League football for next season, but they will be looking for a confidence-boosting victory, as well as wanting revenge for the 2 - 1 defeat they suffered earlier in the season.

Jurgen Klopp's squad has been short of confidence recently, with key players such as Mo Salah, Darwin Nunez, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Ibrahima Konate all suffering alarming dips in form.  That has coincided with a run of poor results which have seen the Red's title challenge fall away in recent weeks, with last weekend's 2 - 2 draw at West Ham all but ending any title hopes.

Klopp must therefore decide whether to stick with his established stars or give youth a chance, with the likes of Jarell Quansah, Harvey Elliott, Cody Gakpo, and Jayden Danns all impressing when given a chance.  There is also the fallout from the touchline bust-up between Klopp and Salah at the end of the West Ham game, although Klopp insists the issue has been dealt with.

Whatever team Klopp picks, he will once again have a strong bench to call upon, with only Jota, Thiago, Matip and Doak sidelined.

Predicted Starting XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk (C), Quansah, Robertson, Endo, Mac Allister, Gravenberch, Diaz, Gakpo, Salah

Predicted Subs: Kelleher, Gomez, Konate, Tsimikas, Szoboszlai, Jones, Nunez, Danns

Injuries and Suspensions

There are currently four players unavailable to Klopp due to injury and suspension, including:

Diogo Jota (muscle), Thiago (back), Joel Matip (ACL), and Ben Doak (hamstring)
