Ahead of today's eagerly anticipated Legends Charity Match, LFC - Back On Our Perch has put together some fun facts and figures about the Liverpool Legends taking part.

With kick-off just a few hours away, LFC - Back On Our Perch takes a fun look at the Legends taking part in today's Charity Match at Anfield, as Liverpool take on Ajax.

The match is a sell-out, with nearly 60,000 fans attending the game, which is raising money for the LFC Foundation.

The Liverpool squad will be managed by Sir Kenny Dalglish, Ian Rush, and Sven-Goran Eriksson, and includes players such as Steven Gerrard, Fernando Torres, Dirk Kuyt, Sami Hyypia, and Jerzy Dudek.

The 21 players taking part today have amassed 3,333 appearances for Liverpool, with Steven Gerrard topping the list with 710 LFC appearances.  At the other end of the scale, Gregory Vignal made just 20 appearances for the Reds.  In terms of goals, Steven Gerrard again tops the list, with 185 goals, ahead of Fernando Torres (81), and Dirk Kuyt (71).  All-together the 21 players scored a total of 488 goals for Liverpool!
