Man United vs Liverpool predicted lineup

Man United vs Liverpool predicted lineup

Liverpool faces Manchester United in the FA Cup tomorrow, with the Reds looking to maintain their push for an unprecedented Quadruple.  LFC - Back On Our Perch names our predicted lineup for the clash at Old Trafford.

Liverpool travel to Old Trafford tomorrow, as the Reds renew their long-standing rivalry with Manchester United.  Jurgen Klopp's side are looking to progress in another cup competition, having already won the Carabao Cup earlier in the season, and thrashed Sparta Prague 11 - 2 (on aggregate) last week in the Europa League.

Thankfully, Liverpool's injury concerns are beginning to ease, with Mo Salah, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Darwin Nunez all fit to play.  Although Klopp has been happy to utilise several Academy players in recent matches, the magnitude of the game tomorrow means he will surely pick his strongest eleven, with the likes of Bobby Clark, Jarell Quansah, and Jayden Danns making the subs bench.

Predicted Starting XI: Kelleher, Bradley, Van Dijk (C), Gomez, Robertson, Endo, Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Diaz, Nunez, Salah

Predicted Subs: Adrian, Quansah, Tsimikas, Danns, Koumas, Clark, McConnell, Gakpo, Gavenberch

Kelleher will once again start in goal, with a back four of Bradley, Van Dijk, Gomez, and Robertson.  I've gone for Gomez to partner Van Dijk, rather than Quansah, simply due to his experience.  The front six all pick themselves, with Endo, Mac Allister, and Szoboszlai controlling the midfield, and Diaz, Nunez, and Salah scoring the goals that will (hopefully) take Liverpool through to another Semi-Final.

Injuries and Suspensions

There are currently eight players unavailable to Klopp due to injury and suspension, including:

Alisson, Jota, Jones, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Thiago, Konate, Bacjetic, and Doak
