Jurgen Klopp and Mauricio Pochettino will once again lock horns in Sunday's Carabao Cup Final.  How has the Reds' boss fared against his Argentinian counterpart?


Jurgen Klopp and Mauricio Pochettino will face each other for the 14th time in their managerial career when they meet at Wembley in the Carabao Cup Final tomorrow.

For Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp, the game represents the first part of an unprecedented quadruple, as the Reds boss looks to end his time at Anfield on a high.  For Pochettino, the game offers the chance of a first piece of silverware, both as Chelsea boss and as a manager in England.

  • Klopp has only lost once to Pochettino in 13 matches
  • The two have met once before in the Carabao Cup, in 2016, when Liverpool won in the Fourth Round
  • They have also met in the Champions League Final in 2018, with the Reds emerging victorious thanks to goals from Salah and Origi
  • Liverpool have only failed to score against Pochettino's team once before, in Klopp's first game in charge
