Brentford vs Liverpool confirmed lineups

Jurgen Klopp has been forced into several changes for today's game, with Alisson, Alexander-Arnold , and Szoboszlai all out injured. Full team news below.

As expected, Jurgen Klopp has made several changes for today's game with Brentford, with both Alisson and Alexander-Arnold out with injury.

As we revealed late last night, Alisson has picked up a hamstring problem in training, so Caoimhin Kelleher will continue in goal, as he did against Burnley last weekend.  Whilst there is no doubt that Alisson is the best goalkeeper in the world, Kellerher is probably the best no.2 in the Premier League, with the young keeper making a number of fine saves last weekend to help Liverpool secure three points.

At right-back, Alexander-Arnold is set to miss several weeks with a knee issue, so Conor Bradley returns to the starting XI, two weeks after the tragic death of his father.

There is good news on the bench, with the long-awaited return of Mo Salah.  Kostas Tsimikas also continues his return from injury and makes the bench for the second game.

Liverpool Starting XI : Kelleher, Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk (C), Robertson, Endo, Mac Allister, Jones, Jota, Diaz, Nunez

Liverpool Subs : Adrian, Gomez, Salah, Gakpo, Elliott, Tsimikas, Gravenberch, McConnell, Quansah
