The draw for the FA Cup Fourth Round may have taken place over a week ago, but it wasn't until earlier tonight, that Liverpool discovered their opponent in the next round, as Norwich City and Bristol Rovers played their Third Round replay.
With a trip to Anfield on January 28th awaiting the winner, both sides fielded strong teams, but it was Championship side Norwich, who eventually won the match, 3 - 1.
Bristol Rovers started the match well, bouyed on by a large home crowd, and took the lead in the 20th minute. The home fans could sense another FA Cup upset, after rivals Bristol City, defeated West Ham in their replay last night. Sadly for the blue half of Bristol, their dreams were to be short lived, with Norwich scoring three second half goals to turn the match around, and secure the coveted trip to Anfield later in the month.
Tickets are already on sale for the Fourth Round tie, so please visit the official Liverpoolfc.com website for more details. If you can't make it to Anfield, the match will be broadcast live by ITV1.
