Jurgen Klopp has picked his strongest possible eleven to start versus Nottingham Forest, but an overnight 'family issue' means Luis Diaz is left out of the squad all-together.

Liverpool are back in Premier League action this afternoon, with Nottingham Forest the visitors to Anfield.  Kick off is at 2pm.  Liverpool and Forest have a longstanding rivalry, dating back to the late 1970's and early 1980's, when the Reds were the dominant force in English Football, but Nottingham Forest, under Brian Clough, proved a difficiult opponent to beat.

The big news before the game comes from South America, with reports overnight suggesting that Luis Diaz's mother and father have been kidnapped by armed gunmen.  This is a developing story and we will provide more details as soon as we have them.  In the meantime, we wish all the Diaz family well, and hope for a happy and speedy resolution to this situation.
