Liverpool youngster attracting interest

Liverpool youngster attracting interest from England and Euro as loan deal

Young Liverpool midfielder Tyler Moreton is attracting plenty of interest from clubs in England and Europe this summer.   But Reds fans shouldn’t worry, the combative midfielder is highly by Jurgen Klopp and the Liverpool Coaching staff, and any move away will only be temporary.

Indeed, such is the progress Moreton is making, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is now considering whether his development will be better aided playing regular first team football, rather than playing with the Liverpool U23’s.

Moreton did make 8 appearances for the Reds in all competitions last season, but with first team opportunities hard to come by, a loan spell, even at a lower level, would give Moreton the experience and challenge needed to take his game to the next level.  It would not be unreasonable to suggest that even a Premier League team, such as Forest or Fulham, would benefit from having Moreton play in their midfield.

If a loan move materialises it will likely be later in the window, when Klopp has had a full pre-season to assess all his options and players.  With Oxlade-Chamberlain set for another spell on the treatment table, Klopp may just decide that having Moreton around is better than letting him go.

LFC – Back On Our Perch will bring you more details if and when a move develops.
