Senegalese star to leave after Liverpool agree Mane sale to Bayern Munich

Liverpool Agree Mane Sale

Sadio Mane will leave Liverpool after 6 trophy filled years, as Liverpool finally accept Bayern Munich's third bid for the Senegalese forward.

The new offer includes a guaranteed £27.5million up front payment, along with £5million in appearance related bonuses, and £2.75million in team related bonuses.  Liverpool had been looking for a figure nearer £42million, and had rejected 2 earlier bids of £20million and £25million respectively, but as with most prolonged transfer negotiations, both sides eventually agreed on a compromise figure.

Liverpool have already splashed the cash on Darwin Nunez to replace Mane, so getting a larger upfront payment for Mane was a priority, whilst realistic appearance related bonuses mean Liverpool can expect to receive additional money over the coming months and seasons.

Losing a player of Mane's quality is always a blow, but once it became clear a few weeks ago that he would not sign a new deal, Liverpool moved quickly to secure their no.1 replacement in Nunez.

Mane leaves Liverpool with a Premier League Winners medal, Champions League Winners medal, FA Cup Winners medal, League Cup Winners medal, EUFA Super Cup Winners medal and FIFA Club World Cup Winners medal.

LFC - Back On Our Perch would like to thank Mane for his efforts during his time at the club and for all the wonderful moments and memories he leaves us with!!

Good luck in the future Sadio!!
