2023 : Liverpool youngsters Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott return to the club as European Under-21 Champions, after England won the tournament, with a 1-0 victory over Spain in the Final.  Jones was credited with the winning goal, although he did not know a lot about it, as the ball bonced off him from a free-kick and went in.  Jones was also named 'Player of the Match' in both the Semi-Final and Final.

2022 : Young Liverpool and Wales full-back, Neco Williams, travelled to Nottingham Forest to complete a medical, ahead of a £10million move.

2021 : Harvey Elliott signed a new 5-year contract with Liverpool, after returning to the club from a successful loan spell with Blackburn Rovers.  The yong midfielder was one of the star performers for the Lancashire side during the 2020/21 season, scoring seven and assisting 11 goals in all competitions.

2020 : Despite months of negotiations between Liverpool and Fulham, neither side was able to agree on a suitable fee for the transfer of young midfielder Harvey Elliott.  Elliott had already joined the Anfield outfit the season before on a free transfer, but with no agreement in sight, Fulham exercised their right for a Tribunal to set the fee that Liverpool would pay.  Several months later, the Tribunal decided that a fee of £4million must be paid.

2019 : Former Liverpool left-back Alberto Moreno joins Spanish side Villareal on a 5-year deal.  The defender had left the Reds at the end of the 2018/19 season, after his contract expired.  Moreno made 141 appearances for Liverpool across 5 seasons.

2018 : Emre Can officially signed for Juventus, after leaving Liverpool on a free transfer.  Despite being offered a new contract by the Reds, and being praised by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, Can decided that he wanted a new challenge, and swapped Merseyside for Turin.  Can had made 167 appearances for Liverpool across all competition. Can signed a 4 year deal with Juve, earning a reported £135,000 a week.
