2023 : Liverpool confirmed that Spanish goalkeeper, Adrian, had signed a new 1 year contract, keeping him at the club for the 2023/24 season.  Despite being third choice keeper, Liverpool were keen to keep Adrian as an experienced backup, in case of injury to Alisson or Kelleher.  The deal is reported to be worth £50k per week, and will see Adrian extend his stay with Liverpool to 5 years.

2019 : Former Director and Chairman of Liverpool FC, Noel White, dies aged 89, following a long illness.  White spent over 20 years as a Director of LFC, from 1986 to 2006.
