2023 : Liverpool proved too strong for West Ham, winning 2-1 at the London Stadium.  Despite falling behind early in the first half, Liverpool showed good resiliance, equalising after 6 minutes through Cody Gakpo, before a Joel Matip header in the second half secured all 3 points.  The win maintained Liverpool's late push for European qualification.
