2023 : Liverpool' former Senegalese forward, Sadio Mane, agrees a deal to leave Bayern Munich and head to the Saudi Pro League, joining Al-Nassr, where he would team up with Chritiano Ronaldo.  Mane secured legendary status at Anfield, with his goals and all-action displays, endearing him to Reds fans everywhere, as the Reds enjoyed a purple patch of success.  Despite this success, Mane decided he needed a new challenge and duly left Liverpool in the summer of 2022.  Sadly for Mane, his time at Bayern would prove to be difficult and short lived, and just a year after joining, Bayern were glad to move him on, with the lure of Saudi millions too good to turn down for club or player.

2022 : Liverpool Manager Jurgen Klopp confirmed that barring injuries, Liverpool's summer transfer business was complete, with forward Darwin Nunez, the headline capture for £85million.

2021 : Young Welsh winger Harry Wilson left Liverpool's pre-season training camp, to complete a £10million move to Fulham.  At the same time, Liverpool put out 2 different teams - one in each half - as they won a pre-season friendly againt Klopp's old club, Mainz 05.

2020 : Liverpool's Brazilian holding midfielder, Fabinho, had his house burgled, as the player and his family celebrated Liverpool's Premier League success.  Following a 5-3 victory over Chelsea, Liverpool celebrated being crowned Premier League Champions - for the first time in 30 years - with fireworks and laser lights.  Sadly, due to ongoing Covid-19 retrictions, no fans were allowed inside Anfield to witness the celebrations, with fans watching from home on TV, or outside the stadium.

2019 : Ex Reds keeper Chris Kirkland checked himself into a rehab clinic, after revealing that he was suffering from anxiety and depression.  The keeper retired from football three years earlier, and had been an advocate for mental health after suffering from anxiety throughout his career.
