2023 : Liverpool confirmed the release of eleven players, as they submitted their retained and released players lists ahead of the 2023/24 Premier League season.  Four first team players, Bobby Firmino, James Milner, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all left at the end of the contracts, whilst 7 academy players were released.
