2024 : Liverpool crashed out of the Europa League at the Quarter-Final stage, losing 3 - 1 on aggregate to Italian side Atalanta.  The Reds won 1 - 0 on the night in Bergamo, but a 3 - 0 home defeat the week before, proved too big a hurdle for the Reds to overcome.
