Liverpool FC Managers
From William Edward Barclay in 1892 to Jurgen Klopp in 2024, just 23 different people have had the honour of managing Liverpool Football Club. Between them, they have managed nearly 6000 games, witnessed over 10,000 goals, and won 65 major honours, including 19 League Titles, 6 European Cups, and 10 League Cups.
Tom Watson holds the record for the longest period as manager, serving the club for nineteen years, while Bill Shankly holds the record for the most games as Liverpool manager, at 783. In contrast, Ronnie Moran holds the record for the shortest time as manager (2 months) and the number of games managed (10), though he was only serving as interim boss at the time.
