Premier League Fixtures released
The fixtures for the 2024/25 Premier League season have been released today, with plenty of exciting games to look forward to on the opening weekend.
Liverpool have been handed a tricky away trip to newly promoted Ipswich Town, in the first 12.30 kick-off of the season, with new boss Arne Slot looking to begin his Liverpool tenure with a win.
All eyes may be on the European Championships taking place in Germany at the moment, but the new Premier League season is now just two months away, with the fixture list released earlier this morning, adding to the hype and excitement.
The first weekend of the season is always full of excitement, and this season promises to be no different, with huge fixtures involving the newly promoted teams, as well as those expected to be in the title mix.
Liverpool has been given a difficult away game to start the season, with the Reds traveling to Portman Road to face newly promoted Ipswich Town. The Tractor Boys have been away from the Premier League for 22 years so they will be keen to make an instant impact, particularly against one of the bigger teams like Liverpool.
The match has also been picked for the 12.30 kick-off slot on Saturday, something previous Manager Jurgen Klopp was highly critical of during his time at Anfield. One can only assume he would have been wearing a rueful smile this morning when he saw our kick-off time.
