Team News
Liverpool:
Jurgen Klopp will once again be forced to field a weakened team, with eleven first-team players still out injured. There is hope that Wataru Endo, Mo Salah, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Darwin Nunez will pass late fitness tests, but as none of the players were seen on Wednesday night against Southampton, they are rated at 50/50 at best.
Expect to see plenty of Academy players such as Bradley, Danns, Clark, McConnell, and Quansah in the squad.
Nottingham Forest:
Forest's form has been patchy of late, and manager Nuno Espitiro Santo will be missing five players for Saturday's game, with Nuno Tavares, Chris Wood, Olaoluwa Aina, Ibrahim Sangare, and Willy Boly all injured.
Predicted Liverpool Lineup
Jurgen Klopp will stick with his preferred 4-3-3 formation.
Kelleher, Bradley, Van Dijk (C), Konate, Robertson, Mac Allister, Clark, Elliott, Danns, Gakpo, Diaz
I don't expect Salah, Nunez, or Szoboszlai to start, but hopefully one or more of them will be on the bench in case we need to find a goal in the second half.
LFC - Back On Our Perch Score Prediction
Liverpool know they cannot afford to drop points with Arsenal and City breathing down their necks, and whilst I expect it to be a tough match against Forest, I think Liverpool will have enough quality and desire to secure the win.
Liverpool to win 3 - 1
