FA Cup games are always special, but for Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott, today's game against Arsenal will be extra special, as he will be making his 50th start for Liverpool.

Elliott, who is a lifelong Reds fan, joined Liverpool on 28th July 2019 from Fulham.  He made his Liverpool debut just a month later, against MK Dons in the League Cup.  Despite his promise, Klopp chose to send Elliott on loan to Blackburn Rovers for the 2020-21 season, where he made 42 appearances, scoring seven goals.

After returning from the loan a more experienced and complete player, Elliott enjoyed a run in the first team at the start of the 2021-22 season, before a horrible ankle injury meant a long spell on the sidelines.  Elliott returned at the end of the season, but it was the 2022-23 that he really established himself at Anfield.

That form has continued into the current season, with goals and assists beginning to come more regularly, and Elliott will be looking to add more appearances as the season progresses.

Well done Harvey!
