Klopp taking no chances as he names strongest XI...

Newcastle visit Anfield with 10 first team players out injured, but Reds Manager, Jurgen Klopp, is taking no chances, as he names his strongest possible starting XI.  Ibrahime Konate returns to partner Virgil van Dijk in central defence, whilst Luis Diaz is restored up front, despite his recent poor form.  Curtis Jones keeps his place in midfield, after his excellent form in recent weeks, and will look to exploit pockets of space in the Newcastle backline, with Wataru Endo shielding the defence.

Harvy Elliott has to make do with a place on the bench, alongside Jota, Gravenberch and Gakpo.

Alexis Mac Allister is back amongst the subs, in a huge boost for Klopp and Liverpool, with so many important games coming up, and with Wataru Endo heading off to the Asian Cup after tonight's game.
