2023 : Mohamad Salah equalled another Liverpool record, as his first half penalty was enough for Liverpool to secure a 1-0 victory over Fulham at Anfield.  Salah's goal means he had scored in each of the last 8 games at Anfield, equalling the record set by Luis Saurez in 2013.  The goal also saw him move to 29 goals in all competitions for the 2022-23 season.

2022 : Liverpool survived an early scare, to run out 3-2 winners against Villareal, and secure their place in the Champions League Final for a 10th time.  Leading 2-0 from the first leg, Liverpool looked tired and vunerable in the first half, conceding 2 goals before half time.  However, goals from Fabinho, Diaz and Mane in the second half ensured Liverpool progressed to another Final.
