Liverpool vs Wolves Predicted Lineup
Jurgen Klopp will pick his final Liverpool lineup tomorrow afternoon, as Wolves visit Anfield in the final game of the 2023/24 Premier League season.
In what will be an emotional afternoon, several high-profile players, including Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz, and Mo Salah, may also be making their Anfield farewells, as speculation continues to mount over which players may follow Klopp out the Anfield exit this summer.
Jurgen Klopp will walk out at Anfield as Liverpool Manager for the final time tomorrow when Wolves visit Anfield in the last game of the season.
After nine glorious years, in which Klopp turned all of us from "doubters to believers", Anfield has one final chance to say Danke Jurgen!!
Numerous presentations and awards are planned, as well as the end-of-season lap of honour, but before all that, there is the small matter of a Premier League football game, though, with nothing riding on the result for either team, it feels like the match is very much secondary to the other events taking place.
Still, Klopp and his players will want to end this part of their journey on a high and provide plenty of entertainment for the 60,000 people packed into Anfield.
Klopp must therefore decide whether to stick with the team that played so well against Aston Villa for 80 minutes the other night or bring back some of his 'big players', such as Dominik Szoboszlai and Darwin Nunez. Neither player has been in good form recently, while their replacements - Harvey Elliott and Cody Gakpo, have excelled in recent weeks and seem certain to form part of the core of Liverpool's team for next season and beyond.
Elsewhere, left-back Andy Robertson is doubtful with a knock, with Joe Gomez likely to continue if the Scot does not recover in time, with Klopp likely to continue to pick youngster Jarell Quansah ahead of Ibrahima Konate alongside Virgil Van Dijk.
Whatever team Klopp picks, he will again have a strong bench, with the likes of Darwin Nunez, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Ryan Gravenberch all available if needed.
Predicted Starting XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk (C), Quansah, Gomez, Endo, Mac Allister, Elliott, Diaz, Gakpo, Salah
Predicted Subs: Kelleher, Konate, Tsimikas, Szoboszlai, Jones, Nunez, Gravenberch, Danns, Bradley
Injuries and Suspensions
There are currently six players unavailable to Klopp due to injury and suspension, including:
Andy Robertson (knock), Diogo Jota (muscle), Bobby Clark (unspecified), Thiago (back), Joel Matip (ACL), and Ben Doak (hamstring)
