Liverpool vs Wolves preview: kick-off, team news, TV channel
Sunday 19th of May 2024 will go down in LFC history, as Jurgen Klopp takes charge of his final game as Liverpool Manager, before retiring at the end of the season.
Wolves are the visitors to Anfield, on what is sure to be an emotionally charged afternoon, as fans in the stadium (and across the world) say thank you and goodbye to one of Liverpool's greatest-ever Managers.
Jurgen Klopp will walk out at Anfield for the final time on Sunday afternoon, as Liverpool bids a fond farewell to one of the greatest Managers the club, and Premier League, have ever seen.
Wolves are the visitors on the final day of the season, but with the title out of reach and Champions League qualification already guaranteed, Anfield will be more interested in saying goodbye to Klopp, than what happens on the pitch.
That said, Virgil Van Dijk and his players will want to end the season on a positive note and give Klopp the send-off he deserves, with a resounding win for the Reds.

Last time the teams met
Liverpool secured a 3 - 1 victory over Wolves at Molineux earlier in the season, with late goals from Andy Robertson and a Hugo Bueno own-goal ensuring Jurgen Klopp's men maintained their good start to the season.
Team News
Liverpool:
Jurgen Klopp has an almost fully fit squad to choose from, with only Andy Robertson, Diogo Jota, Joel Matip, Thiago, and Ben Doak unavailable. Robertson and Jota are both back in training but will need to be assessed nearer the game, to see if they can make the squad.
Wolverhampton Wanderers:
Like Liverpool, Wolves are nearly at full strength, with only Craig Dawson, Leon Chiwone, and Pedro Neto doubtful for Sunday's game.
Predicted Liverpool Lineup
Jurgen Klopp will use his preferred 4-3-3 formation.
Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk (C), Quansah, Gomez, Endo, Mac Allister, Elliott, Diaz, Gakpo, Salah
Liverpool were excellent for 80 minutes against Aston Villa last week, so there is no real reason for Klopp to change his starting XI. If Andy Robertson does miss the game through injury, then Joe Gomez should start at left-back again, with the excellent Gakpo and Elliott keeping their places in midfield and attack. That means the likes of Curtis Jones, Dominik Szoboszlai and Darwin Nunez will once again be on the bench.
Liverpool Score Prediction
End-of-season games tend to be high-scoring, and Klopp and his players will want to sign off the 'Klopp-era' with a big win. Liverpool are also struggling to keep clean sheets at the moment, so I can see Wolves scoring, but the Reds will get the win Klopp deserves, with plenty of entertainment thrown in for the Anfield crowd.
Liverpool to win 5 - 2
