Aston Villa vs Liverpool confirmed lineup

Jurgen Klopp makes one change for this evening's game against Aston Villa at Villa Park, with Joe Gomez returning to the Starting XI, in place of Andy Robertson, who has failed a late fitness test.

The match is Jurgen Klopp's final away game as Liverpool Manager and comes on the back of last weekend's excellent 4 - 2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp has made just one change for this evening's Premier League game against Aston Villa, with versatile defender Joe Gomez replacing Andy Robertson at left-back.  Robertson missed several training sessions during the week, leading to speculation that he may not make tonight's game, and that has now been confirmed with Jurgen Klopp naming his Starting XI.

Aside from the one change, Klopp has opted to name the same team that played so well against Tottenham last week, as the Reds returned to winning ways after several difficult weeks.

Liverpool will line up in Klopp's favoured 4-3-3 formation, with Van Dijk Captaining the side.

Liverpool Starting XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk (C), Quansah, Gomez, Mac Allister, Endo, Elliott, Diaz, Salah, Gakpo
