Atalanta vs Liverpool preview: kick-off, team news, TV channel
Liverpool go in search of another European miracle on Thursday, when they look to overturn a 3 - 0 deficit against Italian side Atalanta, in the Quarter-Finals of the Europa League.
After another awful performance against Crystal Palace on Sunday, Liverpool will need to produce a minor miracle on Thursday evening, when they travel to Atalanta, hoping to overturn a 3 - 0 deficit from last week's first leg.
The Reds have a history of amazing comebacks, such as the 2005 Champions League Final, or the 2018 Champions League Semi-Final against Barcelona, and Jurgen Klopp will be hoping his players can add one more chapter to his amazing story.

Team News
Liverpool:
Jurgen Klopp made six changes for the first leg at Anfield last week, but the decision backfired badly, as Liverpool produced one of the worst performances of the Klopp era. Had the Reds beaten Crystal Palace at the weekend, it would have been tempting to put all their efforts into winning the Premier League, but as that now also looks out of reach, Klopp and his players must do everything they can on Thursday, to keep their European dreams alive. That means key players such as Salah, Robertson, Alisson, and Diaz must all start. Conor Bradley's injury at the weekend means he will be available to play, so Trent Alexander-Arnold will return to the Starting XI.
Atalanta:
The Italian side are once again at near full strength, with only Giorgio Scalvini and Sead Kolasinac doubts for the match.
Predicted Liverpool Lineup
Jurgen Klopp will stick with his preferred 4-3-3 formation.
Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk (C), Gomez, Robertson, Endo, Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Diaz, Elliott, Salah
Liverpool needs all their big players to step up on Thursday, but I think it's time for Darwin Nunez to be dropped. If the Reds are to progress, they need goals, but Nunez looks totally lost at the moment and has missed more chances than any other striker across Europe's big 5 leagues. The Red's other strikers are also low on confidence, but I would play Harvey Elliott on the right, and move Mo Salah into a central position, with Diaz continuing on the left wing. At the back, Alisson comes back into goal, while Ibrahima Konate is another player low on confidence and making too many mistakes, so I would partner Van Dijk and Gomez at the back. Conor Bradley misses the game through injury, so Alexander-Arnold returns to the lineup.
Atalanta vs Liverpool Score Prediction
It seems stupid to suggest Liverpool can progress on Thursday night - given how poor they were again yesterday - but The Reds have a history of upsetting the odds. If they can score the first goal, and build some confidence, I think something special could happen again. I think Atalanta will score, but I'm going for an emphatic 5 - 1 victory to the Reds, with Jurgen Klopp creating one more piece of magic before he retires.
Liverpool to win 5 - 1
