Liverpool vs Atalanta Predicted Lineup

Liverpool vs Atalanta Predicted Lineup

Liverpool are back in European action later this evening when Atalanta visit Anfield in the first leg of the Europa League Quarter-Finals, and LFC - Back On Our Perch has the predicted lineup.

Anfield will host another European night under the lights later this evening when the Reds return to Europa League action against Italian side Atalanta.

The match is the first leg of the Europa League Quater-Finals, and Jurgen Klopp will be hoping his team can take full advantage of the home crowd, to give the Reds a lead to take out to Italy next week, for the second leg.

Following the recent disappointment at Old Trafford, Klopp has been able to welcome back key trio Alisson, Jota, and Alexander-Arnold to full training.  Although the three may make the squad for tonight's game, it's unlikely that any of them will start, with Klopp likely to keep most of the players who started the United game.  With that said, I do expect a few changes, with Diaz and Szoboszlai possibly rested, with Jones and Elliott taking their places.  Elliott has been excellent when coming on as a substitute, and deserves a chance to start, while Jones could use the extra minutes to regain full fitness.  Despite his mistake, I expect Klopp to stick with Quansah, as the youngster continues to gain vital experience.

Predicted Starting XI: Kelleher, Bradley, Van Dijk (C), Quansah, Robertson, Endo, Mac Allister, Jones, Elliott, Nunez, Salah

Predicted Subs: Adrian, Gomez, Konate, Gakpo, Gravenberch, Alexander-Arnold, Szoboszai, Diaz, Jota

Injuries and Suspensions

There are currently four players unavailable to Klopp due to injury and suspension, including:

Thiago (back), Matip (ACL), Doak (hamstring), Bajcetic (back in training, but not match fit)
