Anfield will once again be graced by one of its greatest-ever players later this month after Liverpool Football Club dropped a huge update regarding the upcoming Legends Charity Match against Ajax.
The match already featured a host of legendary players, such as Sami Hyypia and Fernando Torres, but they will now be joined by Steven Gerrard.
Our former No.8 has confirmed that he will be joining the 19-man squad for the upcoming game on Saturday 23rd March 2024. The match kicks off at 3pm GMT, with Sir Kenny Dalglish, Ian Rush, and Sven-Goran Eriksson taking charge of the Reds.
The news means Liverpool fans will once again get to witness the brilliant link-up play between Gerrard and Torres, with the Spaniard set to feature in his first Legends Match.
Over 54,000 tickets have already been sold for the match, with all the proceeds going directly to the Liverpool FC Foundation. Tickets are priced at just £28 for adults and £8 for children. Head over to the Official Liverpool FC website to purchase your tickets now before it is too late.
