Virgil Van Dijk has reached a personal milestone this afternoon, making his 250th appearance in a red shirt.

Liverpool's talismanic centre-back has been in fantastic form again this season, leading Liverpool towards a historic Quadruple.

Since joining Liverpool in January 2018 for £75million, Van Dijk has won the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup, Charity Shield, Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.  If the club wins the Europa League this season (which they are favourites to do), then Van Dijk will have won every major honour available at club level.

LFC - Back On Our Perch would like to add our congratulations to Van Dijk on his fantastic achievement, and look forward to watching him play for Liverpool for many years to come.
