The match kicks off at 3pm (UK time), on Saturday 10th January 2024.

The game is being played at Anfield, the home of Liverpool FC.  As the Anfield Road expansion nears completion, the club is hopeful of setting a new league attendance record, with over 60,000 fans expected to be at the match.

Which competition are we playing in?

The match is taking place in the Premier League. Both teams have currently played 23 games in the league so far this season.

Are tickets still available?

Is the game on TV?

As the game kicks off at 3pm, it is subject to broadcasting blackout rules, meaning the game cannot be watched live in the UK.  Match highlights will be available later in the day on BBC One's Match of the day. Highlights will also be available via Liverpool's Official website and Youtube channel.

What happened the last time the teams met?

Liverpool travelled to Burnley earlier in the season, securing a 2 - 0 victory over the Clarets on the 26th December 2023.   Goals from Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota secured the win, although Liverpool could (and should) have scored a lot more goals, with Burnley keeper James Trafford making several excellent saves.

Last time out

Liverpool suffered only their second league defeat of the season, losing 3 - 1 to Arsenal.  Burnley meanwhile, drew 2 - 2 with Fulham last week.
