Liverpool now know the identity of their FA Cup Fifth Round opponents, after Southampton and Watford played their Fourth Round Replay earlier tonight.
With the two teams drawing 1 - 1 just over a week ago, Liverpool had to wait until this evening, to know the exact identity of their next opponents. However, after Southampton won tonights replay 3 - 0, Jurgen Klopp and his players can begin to think about a Fifth Round tie at home to the South Coast side.
Southampton were relegated from the Premier League last season, but are well placed to bounce straight back up, as they currently sit second in the table.
The Fifth Round tie takes place on February 28th 2024, with kick at 8pm. The game has already been selected to TV, with ITV1 and ITVX showing the match live in the UK.
