Liverpool have cnfirmed the starting eleven, that they hope will inflict another defeat on Manchester United at Anfield this afternoon. Injury to Mac Allister has forced Klopp to make one change, with Ibrahima Konate coming in.

Strongest Possible XI
After resting most of the first team for the game against Union SG on Thursday, Jurgen Klopp has picked his strongest possible starting eleven for this afternoon's match. Konate comes in to partner Van Dijk in the centre of defence, whilst injury to Alexis Mac Allister means Wataru Endo starts at no. 6, with Gravenberch and Szoboszlai completing the midfield three.
United have their own injury problems, with Ten Hag naming Jonny Evans in the heart of defence, and yougnster Mainoo in midfield.
