Only Alisson and Salah keep their places in the starting line-up, as Klopp looks to give youngesters a chance and give other players a rest ahead of another difficult away trip at the weekend.
Jurgen Klopp has named a strong starting 11 for our second group game in the Europa League, versus Union Saint-Gilloise of Belgium.
The full line is : Alisson, Tsimikas, Quansah, Konate, Alexander-Arnold (C), Endo, Gravenberch, Elliott, Jota, Nunez, Salah
Subs : Jaros, Mrozek, Gomez, van Dijk, Diaz, Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, Jones, Robertson, Matip, Chmbers, Doak
One of the biggest surprises is the inclusion of Alisson in goal, as Kelleher usually plays cup and European games. However, the young Irish goalkeeper has picked up a knock in training, meaning he misses tonights game, and possibly the next few weeks, with his involvement in the upcoming internationals now also in doubt.
The other talking point is the ommision of Alexis Mac Allister from the starting line up. Although it makes sense to rest him ahead of the weekend, many fans will have been hoping to see hime face off against his older brother, Kevin, who starts in defense for Union SG. Depending on how the game unfolds, Klopp may feel the need to bring on Mac Allister, or maybe, if Liverpool are in control, he may just give Mac Allister a few minutes at the end of the game, so that both brothers can share the same pitch.
